The EMPAFORM (Strengthening and Empowering Civil Society for Participatory Forest Management in East Africa) programme has recently launched its website. The programme is run in the three countries of Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania and is funded by the European Union and Care Denmark. The website,
www.empaform.org , gives an overview of the programme and its activities in the three countries.
Other details found on the website include details of the three lead NGOs in the three countries that are charged with implementing the programme. These are FAN in Kenya, Tanzania Forest Conservation Group (TFCG) in Tanzania and Budongo Forests Community Development (BUCODO). It also includes some of the publications produced through the regional office as well as those produced separately in the three countries.
